Melissa’s Approach

Melissa uses a strengths-based, person-centered approach tailored to each client or couple’s unique needs. She integrates evidence-based practices, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Trauma-informed care

Clients often describe her as compassionate, grounded, and empowering — someone who helps them feel both supported and capable of meaningful growth.

Clinical Supervision

In addition to her counseling work, Melissa is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) for Licensed Associate Counselors (LACs) seeking outside clinical supervision. She is passionate about helping new clinicians develop their professional identity, strengthen their clinical skills, and trust their instincts.

Melissa is committed to reducing stigma, increasing access to mental health services, and investing in the next generation of counselors.
